How Dogs Spread Diseases

Coughing & sneezing:

Virus particles are shed in the surroundings and infect another healthy dog
Eg: kennel cough, distemper

Faecal/oral:

Infection is shed in stool or vomit and multiply to healthy animal
Eg: canine parvo

Through bites:

Infected animals carry virus in spit and pass it to other by biting
Eg: rabies

Contaminated objects:

Object in the vicinity of animal gets polluted with animal excreta containing infectious micro-organisms
Eg: spread of canine parvo through contaminated utensils, bedding, kennels
Through behavior:

Mutual grooming:

Eg: feline leukaemia
